A new summer event is about to hit Kelowna at the end of May.
The Downtown Kelowna Association is launching a night market in Kerry Park and the 200 Block of Bernard Avenue, every Thursday from May 30 to Aug.29.
From 4 - 9 p.m., a variety of downtown businesses along with artisans, crafters, local food producers, and community-based entertainment will display their wares at the night market.
This market is part of the Meet Me on Bernard program, the Night Market aims to energize the downtown in the late afternoon and evening by providing a fun environment that supports Kelowna businesses.
Applications for the Downtown Kelowna Night Market are still being accepted to round out the weekly event’s offerings. Artisans, crafters, and local food producers are invited to submit their applications through an online application form.
This year’s Meet Me on Bernard program begins on Friday, May 17, in the 200 Block of Bernard Avenue from Abbott Street to Water Street, with the 300 Block from Water Street to Pandosy Street joining on Friday, June 28.
