Big White is at it again - the ski resort east of Kelowna has delayed its opening day for a third time.

The mountain was originally set to open Nov. 23, but a lack of snow keeps pushing the date back.

Big White is hoping to open the runs on Dec. 7, but that means snow has to fall this week. The latest the mountain has opened in past years was Dec. 11 for the 2002/03 ski season.

Lara’s Gondola is said to be open already, but even the skating rink has had to stay closed due to unstable conditions.
