Need something to do for Family Day?

The Kelowna Art Gallery is offering free admission to all on Feb. 19.

An exhibition featuring art from Dempsey Bob, Wolves: The Art of Dempsey Bob, will be on display for its final day, children can hunt for the Gopher in a Can in The General Store, and the whole family can lay back and watch the the wonders of the night sky with All the Stars We Cannot See.

The Art Lab will be open, as well, where visitors can create their own masterpiece.

“We have some fun and fabulous exhibitions right now that are perfect for introducing children to the wonders of art,” said Sumi Ali, education coordinator at the gallery. “We also know that children will want to be active, so we have planned a variety of art activities that will give families the opportunity to express their creativity together and to connect through art.”

The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
