The PGA of BC 19th Annual Golfathon for ALS is back at the Okanagan Golf Club on Tuesday, June 19.

Golf professionals will play the course from sunrise to sunset to raise money as part of ALS Awareness Month. All proceeds raised throughout the day go towards the ALS Society of BC, which funds many programs and services, including the PROJECTHOPE initiative.

Six players are participating in the event - Lee Ranger, Scott Morin, Oliver Rizun, Sean Nault, lan Walker, and James Grassie.

Okanagan Golf Club is one of 50 courses across the province that hosts the event annually.

Since 2005, the event has raised more than $2.5 million.

Those interested can donate on the Golfathon for ALS website.
