Revelstoke artist spreading joy with murals

Bambi painted the mural in Trail, B.C.

Revelstoke-based artist, Turbo Bambi was busy in Trail recently, where she created a mural for the community’s Silver City Days.

Bambi painted the mural at Gyro Park on May 12. According to a press release from the artist, it was noted that the event was organized by the Trail & District Arts Council and VISAC Gallery in partnership with the City of Trail and sponsored by ATCO.

Bambi’s art is described as “joyful street art.” She invited the community to join her and add their splash of colour to the mural.

The Kootenays’ vast landscape inspired Bambi’s artwork.

“This mural is a reflection of the joy of being surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Kootenays, and it was incredible to share this process with the Trail community,” said Bambi.

Bambi also said that as the event celebrated community and family, her mural serves as a reminder of “art’s ability to bring people together and enhance public spaces.”
