‘Hold My Beer’ singer kicks off concerts at Kelowna country venue

This Country Bar welcomed the Liquored Up Tour on Feb. 15 for the venue’s first concert

Kelowna’s newest country music venue held its first concert on Feb. 15, and to top things off it was a sold out event.

This Country Bar opened its doors in 2023 above the Liquid Zoo on Lawrence Ave. The venue’s first concert featured Canadian country music artists Aaron Pritchette, Cory Marks, and Matt Lang as they cross the country for the Liquored Up Tour.

Doors opened at 8 p.m. for a 9:30 p.m. showtime.

The venue offers a more intimate concert setting with limited tickets and standing room only. The crowd cheered for an encore and one of Pritchette’s most well-known songs “Hold My Beer” before the concert ended around 11 p.m.

Pritchette, Marks, and Lang interacted with the crowd by recording videos on attendees phones, offering one up-front concert goer a beer, and taking selfies on the patio between songs.

This Country Bar has a number of events planned as spring and summer approach. Find details on the venue and its upcoming events at thiscountrybar.ca.
