Super Bowl LVIII kicks off at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon and many bars and restaurants are hosting parties around town.

Some of the places throwing parties for the big game are:

  • O’flannigans;
  • McCulloch Station Pub;
  • Red Bird Brewing;
  • Dakoda’s Pub;
  • Tonic’s;
  • Rusty’s;
  • Mickie’s Pub;
  • Match Eatery and Public House;
  • Craft Beer Market;
  • 97 Street Pub;
  • Turtle Bay Pub;
  • Central Kitchen and Bar;
  • and many more.

While all these places are hosting parties, they will also have many food and drink specials available. Some of them are even giving away prizes through the game, including Mickie Pub, which is giving away a recliner every quarter.

Red Bird Brewing has squares for people to buy for a chance to win prizes and all funds raised are going to Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA).

Meanwhile the employees at Canadian Brewhouse are split on who’s going to win between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

Enjoy the game and be safe wherever you are watching!
