Flights delayed at Kelowna airport as snow blankets the Central Okanagan

As more snow falls in the Central Okanagan, multiple flights have been delayed at the Kelowna International Airport (YLW) on Friday morning, Jan. 19.

As of 8:20 a.m., eight flights have been delayed, affecting travellers going to Vancouver, Prince George, Calgary, Las Vegas, and Cancun.

Additionally, seven flights arriving in Kelowna are late.

Kelowna is expecting up to another five centimetres of snow on Friday, according to Environment Canada.
