The City of Kelowna is reminding the public of its annual clean-up at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.

Each year city staff go into the cemetery between March 1 and 14 to remove all adornments from plots and niches.

The refresh is to keep city grounds clean and cut down on waste. It also helps with wildlife management.

All items and decorations will be kept in the cemetery office for one month following the clean, to ensure ample time for people to collect anything they would like to keep. Residents are encouraged to remove items before March.
