Kelowna RCMP respond to injured person at Queensway Bus Loop

Kelowna RCMP responded after a person was seriously injured near the Queensway bus loop.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, police responded to a report of an injured person in the 400-block of Queensway.

When officers arrived, the injured person was located near the intersection of Pandosy Street, where he was promptly transported to hospital.

“The scene of the incident was originally secured for examination but was released to the public at about midnight,” said Sgt. Judith Bertrand, media liaison officer for the Kelowna Regional Detachment. “The investigation in still unfolding but at this time, it is believed to be an isolated incident.”

Police are asking anyone who have witnessed the incident to come forward and call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
