Accident reported at Hwy 97C exit

Police was searching a nearby field but left after 30 minutes

Witnesses reported a motor vehicle accident near the Highway 97C exit to Peachland last night.

Police and fire trucks blocked off the exit ramp Highway 97 and Seclusion Bay Road at about 11 p.m. Friday, and were searching a nearby field. Emergency crews left after a half an hour, said the witness.
