A car fire smoked out the Walmart parking lot Tuesday morning

Firefighters are battling a car fire in the Kelowna Walmart parking lot.

The fire under the hood of a small white Volkswagen ignited just after 10 a.m. and crews had a good handle on it before 10:30 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but fire crews believe it was likely electrical in nature.
