Motorbike rider injured in two-vehicle crash

Motorcyle and car collide Sunday on Dilworth Drive, just south of Highway 97

The driver of a motorcycle was taken to hospital Sunday after a two-vehicle collision on Dilworth Drive in Kelowna.

Medical personnel, the RCMP and Kelowna Fire Department responded to the scene of the crash between the bike and a grey, four-door sedan over the noon hour Sunday, just south of Highway 97.

The injured male was stretchered and transported to hospital by ambulance shortly after 1 p.m.

No other details on the crash, including the extent of the rider’s injuries, are available at this time.
