Traffic will flow without planned closures on Highway 97 north of Summerland over Easter weekend.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure says there will be no blasting-related closures in the area from Thursday, March 28, to Monday, April 1.

The area north of Summerland has been affected following a rock slide in August 2023. Around 3,000 cubic metres of rock came down at that time.

Since the rock slide, crews have been working on the highway between Callan Road and Okanagan Lake Provincial Park.
