Update 10:50 a.m.
Kelowna RCMP say there is no concern to public safety after a serious assault outside Orchard Park Shopping Centre.
An altercation took place Wednesday morning at the bus loop on the west side of the mall.
Cops say all persons involved in the assault have been located.
The public is asked to stay clear of the area. Anyone with dash camera footage or a video recording of the incident is asked to call Kelowna RCMP and reference file number 2023-33094.
Update 10:40 a.m.
Kelowna RCMP has confirmed one person was taken to hospital after an incident outside Orchard Park Shopping Centre.
Police are currently on scene taking photos and collecting evidence.
The parking lot on the west side of the mall near the bus stops remains closed.

Kelowna RCMP are at Orchard Park Shopping Centre where a section of the parking lot has been taped off.
Police presence is on the west side of the mall near the bus stops.
An ambulance is on scene also.
