Highlights from the Central Okanagan School Board meeting from Wednesday night

13 Reasons Why

Superintendent Kevin Kaardal gave a letter to Central Okanagan Public Schools’ parents to ensure parents are aware and informed of the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why about a young girl who dies by suicide and the message she leaves for 13 people she feels are responsible for her pain. The show is targeted for students sixteen years of age or older.

Dodgeball

The Central Okanagan School District Student Council raised more than $800 during their district-wide dodgeball event. The event supports the Giving Giggles Kelowna Hosptial Foundation fundraiser.
