The City of West Kelowna is advising the public that blasting activity related to subdivision construction in the Tallus Ridge area will be extended to Mar. 31.
A blasting permit, originally beginning Oct. 24, 2016, has been extended for TT Contractors Ltd. for site blasting for Tallus Ridge Stage 8 on Paramount Drive in West Kelowna.
Blasting will be allowed Monday to Saturday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. As part of WorkSafeBC requirements, safety sirens will be sounded before the blast and once the area is cleared. The blasting company will monitor for vibrations caused by the blast.
