Trailer fire on Highway 97

In West Kelowna’s Glenrosa area, part of the highway was closed after a trailer caught on fire

Part of Highway 97 in West Kelowna was closed on Wednesday night due to a trailer fire.

Crews were called to the scene on Hwy. 97 Southbound at the Glenrosa Overpass around 7:55 p.m. on Wednesday.

Fire department crews battled the blaze while the highway was closed Southbound with a detour at Glenrosa Exit.

There is no official word on how the fire started.
