Go By Bike Week is May 29-June 4, and BC Transit is urging its customers to get involved.

Transit will take part in several events at ‘celebration stations’ around the region, promoting sustainable transportation and teaching cyclists how to use the bike racks on buses.

The racks make it easier for cyclists to combine two forms of sustainable transportation when travelling longer distances.

BC Transit will be at the following locations for Go By Bike Week:

  • Stuart Park - Monday May 29 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.;
  • Ben Lee Park – Thursday June 1 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Residents can register for Go By Bike Week to win local and provincial prizes, and individuals or teams can register and log their bike rides.

To register and get more information visit the Go By Bike Week website.
