RCMP confirm reports a rollover has claimed the life of one woman Monday evening.
Emergency crews were called to the crash scene, along Highway 97 at Crystal Waters Road shortly before 7 p.m.
"Lake Country RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are investigating after a single-vehicle roll over crash claimed the life of a woman,” said Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey.
A lane closure is still in effect northbound following the accident.

Early reports indicate the single-vehicle rollover north of Lake Country has claimed one life.
RCMP have not yet confirmed.

There are reports of a serious, single vehicle accident on Highway 97 at the north end of Lake Country, near Crystal Waters Road.
Unconfirmed reports have people trapped in the vehicle.
