Alan Francis MacKenzie
It is with great sadness that the family of Alan Francis MacKenzie announce his passing on January 18, 2017 at the age of 77 in Foothills Country Hospice, Okotoks Alberta after a short battle with cancer.
Alan immigrated to Canada with his family in 1952. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Valerie, his mother Elizabeth. Three children. Cathy (Bob) Martindale, Ken (Debbie) and Debra Polach. Five Grandchildren, Tara (David), Nicole (Preston), Jessica, Courtney and Ryder. One Brother Colin (Nancy) and nephews Hugh and Stuart. Special Cousins Paul (Judy) and Morag (Bob) and many close friends.
Alan was a caring and selfless man who put his family first. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 4, 2017 at 11AM in Saint Charles Garnier Church, 3645 Benvoulin Road, Kelowna. A reception will follow in the church hall. If anyone so desires memorial tributes can be made directly to Foothills Country Hospice Society P.O.
