Alex passed away suddenly on September 7, 2016 at the age of 82, after a great day of fishing. He is survived by his loving wife Emily, children Erwin (Eunice), Karin Schmidtke-Hone (Gordon), Eddie (Tamara), grandchildren Alexandra Pauls (Kevin), Ashley Gunn (Brad), Carson, Avery, Kalan, Daryn and sister Erika McLeod. Alex loved to spend time with family, friends, fishing, hunting and being in nature – not necessarily in that order J.
