TRAUB, Edward Lavern

Our wonderful dad and grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend, Edward Lavern Traub passed away suddenly on November 10, 2016 at the age of 80.
While we were not ready to say goodbye, God said, "Attention, please," the steersperson called "All down" and Lavern "Checked his boat." Lavern finished his race, winning another first. He waits for us in heaven, on the other side of the lake.
Mourning Lavern's passing are his wife Doreen, who he lovingly cared for, a faithful companion for 58 years; son, Cam (Heather) Traub; daughters Patti (Dean) Sader, Melonie Traub, and Marilyn (Al) Janzen; and 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Lavern's family wishes to acknowledge his good friend Terry Forestell for caring for him at his passing.
Memorial Services celebrating Lavern's life will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Springfield Funeral Home,
