It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Giovanna DiMaria. She was predeceased by her husband, Rosario, in 2000 and survived by her children: Sam (Patti), Mary Hawes (Jim), Tony (Maria) and Sara Cimino (Tony). Her ten grandchildren were the joy of her life: Joanna (Phil), Marina (Thomas), Jenna, Stefan, Santina (Jonathan), Antonio (Madelyn), Samantha (Adam), Jamie, Anthony and Ross. The family would like to extend its gratitude to the wonderful staff and caregivers at the Hollywood Unit at Sunpointe Village. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 6 at 7:00 pm; followed by a Funeral Service on Saturday, January 7, at 10:30 am, both at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1077 Fuller Avenue, Kelowna.
