AMOS, Janet passed away peacefully in her home on
Friday, June 3, 2016. She is survived by her loving son and daughter Paul Jackson and Peggy Mitchell (Jason McKean); seven grandchildren and all her great-grandkids. She was predeceased by her amazing husband Ted Amos, her daughter Shelli Carrington (Gary) and her granddaughter Lisa Mitchell. She came to Rutland from Scotland in 1928 and except for eight years in Calgary, she has lived in the Okanagan. The last forty years in Kelowna. She was a member of the Kelowna Golf & Country Club and Curling Club since 1976. She enjoyed a full active life. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Army, Navy & Air Force Club, 270 Dougall Road North, Kelowna, on Sunday June 19, 2016 at 12:00 pm.
