In loving memory ~

John (Jack) Edward Simpson of Oyama. Jack lost his battle with cancer on May 28th, 2023, at the age of 83.

Jack was born and raised in Richmond, BC. He spent his early years in the trucking industry then later went on to work for the Ministry of Transportation and Highways as District Manager of Compliance until his retirement. He then made the move to the Okanagan and spent his retirement years in Oyama, BC where he enjoyed maintaining his home and working in his yard building many projects.

Jack was predeceased by his parents, Edward (Ted) Simpson, Ena Simpson (nee Sjoquist) and his son Donald Edward Simpson. Jack is survived by his daughter Tori (Tony) Kurz. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren Jenn Hall (Mike), MCpl. Ryan Hall of Edmonton, AB, Cpl. Brandon Hall of Wainwright, AB both of the Canadian Armed Forces, and great grandson, Bradley Donald Simpson. Jack is also survived by his sister Berna Cameron of Surrey, BC, nephew Ken (France) Cameron of Ottawa, Ont. and niece Carry (Brent) Baron of Surrey, BC.

There will be no service as per Jack's wishes.
