Victoria Helene 'Vicky' Howden (need Sawchuk)

November 19, 1937 - August 19, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vicky on August 19, 2021, at the Kelowna General Hospital. She was born on November 19, 1937.
She is survived by her husband, Bert; special daughter Kelly, son Wade (Anda), grandson Trey and Barry (Bev) Sawchuk; Predeceased sister Mary; brothers, Bill (Mary), Orest and John; parents, Dmytro and Nettie.
Vicky was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, she lived on a farm in Yellow Creek and eventually moved to Saskatoon to complete her education. She moved to Regina then to Calgary where she met Bert. In 1962 they were married and in 1967 they moved to Kelowna.
While living in Calgary Vicky was employed by Hadden Davis & Brown (Engineers) and G.R. Beatson & Asc. (Architects) as a secretary.
A funeral will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1910 Windsor Rd. Kelowna. Due to Covid 19 attendance is by invitation only.
A viewing will be held 1 hour before the service at 10:30 am. Graveside service will follow at 11:40 am at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
