After a brief illness, William (Bill) Killingsworth passed away peacefully on Aug 3, 2017, in Kelowna, B.C. He was 81.

The youngest son of William Killingsworth Sr. and Cecilia Swift, Bill was born in Montreal and spent his professional years working for CP Rail in Montreal, and then in Toronto. Upon retirement, he and his wife, Hélène (nee Archambault), moved to Canmore, Alta., and then to Kelowna, British Columbia, to be near loved ones. He enjoyed the outdoors; and golf became a favourite pastime. But for Bill, nothing beat spending time with family.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Bud (married to Bernice) and Fred (to Vera), and survived by Hélène, his wife of 55 years, sons Michael and Thom (married to Stephanie), grandchildren Ryan, Andrew and Madelyn, as well as his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held in Kelowna at Manteo Waterfront Resort on the afternoon of September 23rd. In lieu of flowers please consider donations in Bill’s name to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association.
