Went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2016, with his family at his side at the age of 97.He is survived by his wife
Esther of 26 years, and his seven children, Esther (Cornie) Krahn; Leonard (Jon) Schlichting, Kenneth (Gwen) Schlichting Wellington; Marvin Schlichting; Carl Schlichting;
John Schlichting; Lynette Schlichting; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday,
April 6, 2016 at the Kelowna Gospel Fellowship,
3714 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mennonite Central Committee, BC.
