To the mayor and each council member of the City of Kelowna:
By now you have heard and seen all the arguments regarding the proposed erection of a tourist centre at the foot of Bernard Avenue. The reality is that the majority of the residents and taxpayers of Kelowna do not want another white elephant blocking the beautiful waterfront view of the lake andmountains on the west side.
My wife and I wish to add our voices to the growing number of people who are in opposition to the tourist centre being built on the waterfront. Pleaseconsider finding another location for the proposed building or renovating the current building on Harvey Avenue.
