BCHL captured all the excitement of the skills competition on video

Penticton is still talking about the thrilling BCHL All-Star Weekend and Frost Fest that brought a true Canadian winter vibe to the city’s downtown core on Saturday, Jan. 20.

Penticton — for the second year in a row — was in the spotlight on Jan. 20 for BCHL All-Star Weekend, the league’s flagship event that attracted thousands of locals and tourists for a skills competition, alumni game and three-on-three tournament.

The league’s brightest from across B.C. stars hit Penticton’s outdoor rink for the hardest shot, fastest skater, breakaway relay and accuracy shooting challenges.

Surrey Eagle Caden Cranston took home the accuracy contest. Donovan Frias from Cranbrook Bucks won the hardest shot. Cole Melady was the fastest skater.

The BCHL captured all the action in a video. Watch all the talent below:

As for the three-on-three tournament, Caden Cranston from the Surrey Eagles was crowned MVP after leading Team Red to victory.
