Ruth Lloyd

I am a lifelong learner who returned to school after a decade working in wildfire. I completed a diploma in Journalism from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, graduating in 2009.

This redirect brought me back to B.C. where I first worked for Black Press Media in Fort St. James at The Caledonia Courier and then took a break to do other jobs including biology, archaeology, and working for a community nonprofit.

I moved back to Williams Lake and joined the amazing team at the Williams Lake Tribune in 2021. I love the Cariboo Chilcotin region, its character, wilderness and diversity.
