World-class bartenders are coming to BNA Brewing to serve up some fancy drinks and cocktails on Monday, Oct. 23.
On top of their own beers and drinks, the brewery is hosting bartenders from the Diageo World Class family, who all have participated in international competitions, will be serving their signature drinks. People all over the world create their own drinks and try to compete regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Matthew Hassen, who works for Nixon Hospitality, has placed in the top 10 in Canada for the last two years.
“It’s a really incredible group of talented folks that I’m fortunate to be a part of,” said Hassen, “Being able to invite them here and put Kelowna on the map in the cocktail world is pretty special.”
Global Bartenders of the Year Kaitlyn Stewart, Jacob Martin, and Chris Enns, will be in attendance at the Oct. 23 event as well as Jeff Savage, a Michelin Guide-awarded bartender, Global Bartender of the Year runner-up, and Canada Bartender of the Year winner.
The event is taking place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with the cocktails available from the bartenders complimentary from Diageo. Reservations are not required but are encouraged.
