More than 200 women attended a two-day conference dedicated to entrepreneurship and business leadership in Kelowna on Feb 2-3.

The Chic Summit 2024 featured speakers from B.C., Alta, the U.S., and the U.K. who hosted discussions and workshops to support female leaders and business owners in Okanagan.

“The Chic Summit is more than just a conference, it’s an experiential event for like-minded women to come together to connect, laugh together, learn, and level up, both personally and professionally,” said Amy Nicole Cohen, The Chic Experience founder.

Speakers included content creator Breanne Allarie, ATB Wealth Senior Vice-President Sherri Wright-Schwietz, Csek Media CEO Nikki Csek, PR Expert Renee Warren, Women’s Health Advocate Kim Vopni, UBCO Professor Dr Lesley Lutes, Executive Coach Sally Phillips, and former NHL player turned Mindset Coach Aaron Volpatti.

Local artist Tamara Hall created two live art pieces that were auctioned off and raised $800 each for Helen’s Acres and Dress for Success.

The event was hosted at 50th Parallel Estate for daytime events and Delta Grand by Marriott Hotel + Oak & Cru for evening events.
