Kelowna Rockets acquire depth forward from Brandon

The Kelowna Rockets made a trade on Saturday afternoon, acquiring forward Ben Thornton from the Brandon Wheat Kings.

In return, Brandon received a conditional draft pick from the Rockets.

Thornton hasn’t made an appearance yet this season. The 19-year-old has 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) in 78 career WHL games.
