In return, Brandon received a conditional draft pick from the Rockets.

The Rockets have acquired 2004-born forward Ben Thornton from the Brandon Wheat Kings in exchange for a conditional draft pick.

Thornton hasn’t made an appearance yet this season. The 19-year-old has 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) in 78 career WHL games.
