The Kelowna Rockets collected all four points available to them on a weekend road trip.

It started Friday (Mar. 1) night at the Langley Events Centre as Caden Price’s (11) overtime winner lifted Kelowna past the Vancouver Giants 4-3.

The Rockets led 3-0 heading into the third period, however, the Giants fought back to tie the game and force overtime.

Kelowna’s other goals came from Max Graham (12), who put the Rockets on the board at 7:13 of the first period. Two minutes later Graham (13) scored again on the power play. Tij Iginla (41) had the lone goal of the second period.

In overtime, Price blocked a shot in the Rockets zone, then joined teammates Mazen Leslie and Andrew Cristall on a rush into the Giants zone, getting a pass from Cristall and finding the back of the net for the game-winner.

The Rockets record is now 28-28-3-1 and they are in seventh place in the Western Conference.
